Town of Erin – Village of Sussex Trustee Stacy Riedel, a conservative leader in the Waukesha County Community, has endorsed Jim Piwowarczyk for the 98th Assembly District seat, citing his fiscal conservativism and “conservative common sense values.”
“I support Jim’s stance on making the cost of living more affordable for working families, supporting tax cuts, and eliminating the state income tax. I also support his conservative common sense values which will make him a great member of the Wisconsin legislature. I’m proud to endorse his candidacy,” said Riedel, who also serves on the Hamilton School Board.
Piwowarczyk, a Republican small business owner and former law enforcement officer, is running in the Aug. 13 primary for the newly drawn 98th Assembly District, which includes Sussex, Merton and Lisbon in Waukesha County, and Hartford, the Town of Erin, and Richfield in Washington County.
“I am thrilled to have the endorsement of a strong and community-minded conservative like Stacy Riedel,” Piwowarczyk said.
She joins a growing list of leaders who have endorsed Piwowarczyk, including Waukesha County Sheriff Eric Severson, Washington County Sheriff Marty Schulteis, the Washington County Deputy Sheriff’s Association, Former Hartford Mayor and Washington County Treasurer Scott Henke, Washington County Executive Josh Schoemann, Washington County DA Mark Bensen, and DA Eric Toney, among others. The National Rifle Association and Wisconsin Realtors Association have also endorsed Piwowarczyk.
Piwowarczyk, who lives in the Town of Erin, is the co-founder of conservative news site Wisconsin Right Now.com. He was a police officer for almost 20 years.
