The top law enforcement association praised Piwowarczyk’s public safety commitment
Town of Erin – The Wisconsin Fraternal Order of Police has endorsed Jim Piwowarczyk in the 98th Assembly District Race, praising his “commitment to public safety and the well-being of law enforcement professionals in our state.”
Piwowarczyk, the Republican in the race, served as a law enforcement officer for almost 20 years in Wisconsin. He has championed public safety and law enforcement causes at Wisconsin Right Now, the conservative news site he co-founded. He is law enforcement’s choice in the race.
“Your values and vision align closely with ours, and we are confident that your leadership will significantly benefit our communities and the law enforcement agencies that serve them,” Wisconsin Fraternal Order of Police President Ryan Windorff wrote Piwowarczyk.
According to Windorff, FOP looks forward to “working together to promote policies that ensure the safety and security of our citizens and the dedicated men and women in law enforcement.”
“The endorsement of the Wisconsin Fraternal Order of Police means a lot to me,” Piwowarcyzk said. “I share their commitment to improving public safety in Wisconsin and the district, and I will be a strong voice for law enforcement in the Legislature.”
Piwowarzcyk has received the support of other top law enforcement leaders, having previously been endorsed by both the Waukesha and Washington County Sheriffs, Eric Severson and Marty Schulteis. He was also endorsed by the Washington County Deputy Sheriffs Association, former Attorney General candidate Eric Toney, and Washington County DA Mark Bensen, among others. The 98th Assembly District encompasses Hartford, Erin, Lisbon, Sussex, Merton, and Richfield.
